Appeal for a new Library at Destiny Junior School in Kibiri, Uganda

Destiny Junior School in Kibiri, Uganda, was started by IRFF UK in 2009 and has grown from a handful of pupils and no classrooms to currently 121 pupils, 8 teachers and 7 classrooms. The old school library was opened in 2014 but is now very limited in room size and furnishings. Hence the need for a brand new library!!

The Rotary Club has kindly given IRFF UK a grant to purchase shelves, tables, chairs and all the necessary books. However, a new building needs to be constructed to house these items, and this is what this appeal is all about.

In order to fulfil the funding conditions of the Rotary grant, the work of the new library should be completed by September 2018. The Opening is scheduled for October 2018!

It was decided that the new library should be a building on its own, and the cost of the construction is estimated at £3,000.
