Why this project matters

The power of vocational training

Vocational education provides young women with essential skills to earn a living, breaking the cycle of poverty and creating opportunities for self-reliance. In the north of Accra, many women lack access to such training, making the Ghana TVET project a lifeline.

How we’re making a difference

- Hands-on training: Students receive expert instruction in baking and sewing.
- Career readiness: Graduates leave with the skills and confidence to start their own businesses.
- Ongoing support: Monthly funding of £200 helps sustain the programme and provides necessary resources.
